Active Faith for the Next Generation

Young people are losing faith in the church
Every week throughout the 1990's an average of 1000 children under 15 walked out of church and never came back... unsurprising when many sports are offered as an exciting alternative.

But the church has not lost faith in young people 
Scores of volunteers across Stroud and the surrounding area are committed to reaching out to young people, to encourage and engage them, help them through difficult times or just create space to hang out and have fun.  

PSALMS is facilitating this movement using trained specialist ministers in Sports and the Arts to support churches in offering Youth Clubs, Sports coaching, Workshops, Activity Days and Camps characterised by energy, fun and ethical, Christian values.
