PSALMS stands for Painswick and Stroud Area Local Ministries. It grew
out of Mission Action Planning within Gloucester Diocese specifically
to address the need to reach out to children and young people. It aims
to model Fresh Expressions of church having an initial emphasis on
Sports Ministry.
PSALMS is cross denominational, currently
supported by local churches including URC, Baptist, Roman Catholic and
Anglican. There is scope to employ other Specialist Ministers as
opportunities arise.
PSALMS is an Associate Trust of both Scripture Union and Christians in Sport. |
